Creating the teachers and students of ZenVR.


A simple mocap solution allowed me to accelerate the rate of content creation in Unity for our VR application.

I used a Mocap to animation pipeline that speed up production using Rokoko's video to mocap tool for character animations applied to avatars from Ready.


Working with Ready Player Me's avatars had some challenges, especially getting the teacher Kai sitting in good lotus pose without his geometry distorting.


For this I used blender to edit the weights of the leg bones.


Substance painter was ideal for giving the avatars some custom branded ZenVR outfits.
